The Friends of Meals on Wheels would like to thank all the people who helped to maked the 2010 Miles for Meals Walkathon a successful event. The event which was held November 6, 2010 and raised over $8000 that will help to support the Elderly Nutrition Program of Yolo County. There were over 100 walkers who participated. Thanks to all of our committee members, and the many volunteers who worked hard to make the event a success! We would also like to thank Bob Casias from Sierra Sound for donating his time and enthusiasm to help make it a fun morning for all participants.
